Discussions about this range from how breaks are structured and what happens at the water cooler, to ping pong tables as a must have on-site or remote first working locations and even to whether a culture is good or bad. But is that what makes a culture? - it’s part of it certainly - though we at circuly form and define our culture by the way people collaborate and interact with each other. The daily business is 100% remote though you are part of an international & closely connected team with daily digital meet-ups. Feel free to work from anywhere or straight from your bed, only requirement is a stable internet connection and being located in a timezone max. +/- 2 hours difference to Berlin (GMT+1). If you are going stir-crazy working from home, we can also provide you access to a local shared office space in your city (GER). To celebrate the whole team (and the beauty of life), we organise offline onboarding weeks and annual team get-togethers. Where? Well, that’s a surprise.
We are a still a young organisation - so there is plenty of space for personal and professional development. You have the unique possibility to shape your role and position within the whole team. Creativity, own ideas and inspirational power is more than welcome - which also means not everything always goes according to plan, though where would be the fun otherwise?
We will work out a fair package that fits your current situation. From choosing your favourite technical equipment to a health membership keeping you active, we want to make sure you are taken care of based on your needs.

At circuly, we enable companies to also rent out their products via E-commerce instead of just selling them. Doing this, we strive to expedite the change from a linear towards a circular economy. Together with customers like bugaboo, Paceheads Riese&Müller, we have successfully launched and scaled rental and subscription models on E-commerce platforms.

The title of this page puts it very well. This is not about a specific role, but about you as a character! Even though we are not actively looking for people to join team right now, this does not mean that we aren't interested in meeting amazing people to assemble a rockstar formation to change the e-commerce industry for good.

- Develop and maintain our API's
- Improve and develop new features of the circuly software
- Optimise circuly software architecture
- Document and test the features you produce with the team
What we need from you.
Soft skills
- You like to share with your colleagues, and you are against silo thinking
- We work 100% remote, so an independent and structured way of working with strong communication and documentation skills is crucial
- You view a product as a whole and respecting interdependencies feels natural to you
- You are ambitious to work in end-to-end development processes, incl. testing and integration
- Interest in Green IT and sustainable software development
Hard Skills
- Study in Computer Science or equivalent working experience
- Several years of working experience with software development in one or multiple modern programming languages like PHP, Python, Typescript, Nuxt.js and Nest.js
- Working experience with Lumen or other REST API frameworks
- Excellent English communication skills in writing and speaking
- Beneficial: Experience in Fintech or SaaS businesses

Hiring can be an exhausting process, especially when you're the one trying to get hired. Therefore, we try to make this a fast and transparent process. Additionally, you will always have one contact person guiding you through the process and helping you with scheduling meetings and making introductions. Your process will look like this:
Are you ready to change the way we consume goods for good?
Review: Our People team will take a look at your CV and check how your skills, qualifications and motivation match the job requirements.
Intro call: A 30 minute video call to get to know each other and evaluate fit in terms of personality, motivation and experience.
Case study: You receive a technical or commercial case study based on the position your applied for. You will have 5 days time to deliver your results.
Deep-dive interview: It's time to show us what you've got. We'll chat for 45-60 minutes to discuss your task. If applicable a reference call and (for sales only) a short role play.
Offer & meet the team: Meet the rest of the team in a 30 minutes chat, you get to know your closer team.
